I have been really impressed with Soap and Glory products recently and this Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer is no exception! Firstly the packaging is very compact and neat making it perfect for your makeup bag and the mirror ensures top ups are easy. I also like that it has two different toned concealers to target different areas of your face. The pinky salmon shade is perfect for under your eyes as the pink helps to counteract the dark blue/grey bags that seem to permanently reside there - well on me anyway! Then the green/yellow shade is perfect for any redness or blemishes. The consistency is very soft and creamy making it extremely easy to blend. However, as much as I love the soft texture under my eyes I don't think it works as well over stubborn marks. I have found it ideal for my chin area or around my nose, which does have a lot of redness, as the product blends seamlessly and just adds an extra layer of concealment; but when you need to pin point conceal those really stubborn marks or blemishes I find this a little bit too soft. In these instances I reach for the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, which I think is incredible - read more here, but is a lot more pricey.

The final step is the powder which sits on a separate compartment on top of the creamy concealers. It is a very translucent powder that I have really enjoyed using around my eyes to prevent any creasing that can occur. It does come with a rather adorable puff but I just find it gets messy far too quickly so always opt to apply it with a soft brush.

Overall I think this is a fantastic product for £10 as you are really getting three camouflaging products all neatly designed into a travel friendly package. What more could you want?

  1. Ooh this sounds lovely, I do get quite dark eye bags and I have a lot of red pigments so would be ideal! The powder puff is definitely adorable :)
