July Favourites

I always love reading these posts to see what products are most loved and why before adding them to my very long wish list. So I thought I would start sharing with you the products I have been using non-stop this month!

1. Garnier Miracle Skin Cream  - Full review here

I cannot stop raving about this light weight base. It is perfect both under makeup if you want to add a bit of glow to your complexion or I have been using it as my base this month as it offers just a hint of colour whilst keeping my skin feeling hydrated all day. It has SPF 20 as well making it perfect for these warmer days as well as an abundance of other ingredients that promise to firm and smooth your skin, combat ageing and dark circles.  You can buy it in Boots for £8.66 at the moment instead of the normal £12.99.

2. Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - Full review here

One of the reasons I can wear such a light weight coverage during the day is because my skin is looking really good at the moment - although now I have mentioned this is will clearly have a mini tantrum tomorrow! I think this has to do with my diet, more sunshine and less stress as I am on school holidays but I also believe a lot of it is down to this cleanser. It was actually recommended to a family friend by her doctor as she suffers from really bad acne and it completely cleared her skin up. Although it markets itself for dry sensitive skin  (you can find it in the Pharmacy section of Boots nears the eczema treatments) my combination complexion has loved it. I use only this now morning and night and love it so much that my Emma Hardie Moranga Cleansing Balm is now collecting dust at the back of my cupboard. For £7.99 in Boots you really cannot go wrong.

3. Origins GinZing Moisturiser - Full review here

The delightful fresh orange smell of this product is just insane and something I look forward to applying every morning. It has a light gel consistency that absorbs quickly into your skin leaving it feeling hydrated. I have gone through countless tubs of the stuff and I am gutted that this morning I scraped out the final remains. You can buy it from Origins for £23.

4. L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer Pen.

I am not usually that fussy when it comes to highlighting concealer pens but this has really stood out for me this month. It adds the perfect amount coverage and highlight making it perfect for under the eyes and my chin area which does have a small amount of pigmentation. If I have had a bad night sleep then I simply mix it with my much loved Laura Mercier Camouflage Concealer to give it that extra oomph! You can purchase it in Boots for £8.49.

5. Clinique Chubby Stick in 08 Woppin' Watermelon.

I got this free in this months issue of Glamour Magazine and have used it every day since. It has a very sheer lightweight formula that adds a hint of colour to your lips. It is a very moisturising formula that remind me of many lip balms that I own. The colour lasts a surprisingly long time but as it is so easy to use you don't need a mirror to top up! I love that this is a mini version so can fir easily into my makeup bag or the zip compartment of my normal bag. I am so glad I hunted this down but I do think at £17 it is very pricey as there is only a subtle colour pay off. You can purchase it here from Clinique.

What have you loved this month?
