Weekly Favourites # 24

So this has been a busy week at work. All the boys sat exams and they all needed to be marked by the weekend which was no easy task. Luckily I had an excellent weekend lined up to take my mind off school. On Friday I met two of my best friends at the RA (Royal Academy of Arts) for the opening of the Summer Exhibition. I absolutely love this exhibition as it has such a variety of art work from numerous artists and has been running for 250 years. As this was the opening exhibition you could sip Pimms whilst you surveyed the art or if you are anything like my friends, we guess how much each piece is before looking it up in the book! We then went to Shampers for dinner which is a lovely French wine bar that also serves incredible food. Their lamb fillets on beans with spinach is just incredible and if you are ever near Liberty's or Carnaby Street then I cannot recommend it enough!

On Saturday I went to Epsom Races with my thirteen of my closest friends and had the best time. The sun shone whilst we sipped prosecco and placed our bets. I was incredibly lucky and won a lot of my races leaving me only having spent £20 despite the copious amount of bubbles, food and betting. I absolutely love day events, especially those that you get dressed up for, and the races are just such fun. We finished the evening by having a curry, which wasn't quite as classy!

On Sunday I met friends at the gym for a spa session before having a quick sunbathe on the common and then a big Sunday lunch with the boys. I think I am getting old as I now much prefer big dinners with friends over going out clubbing and this was the most perfect way to end a ridiculously good weekend. Although now I feel like I need a day to rest and sleep!

Favourite post: I think the majority of my favourite posts are Suzy from Hello October, but wait to you see her hair and makeup in her latest video(here). Obsessed with recreating it!

Favourite product:  My stand out product of the moment has to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Luminous Flush. It is the perfect glowing pink and I don't think I day has passed that I haven't used it. It is quite possibly the most gorgeous blusher I will ever own. Read more about it here

Hope you have all had a good week too!
