Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer

I will go against the majority when I say I was not a fan of the cult favourite Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation. I disagreed that it gave you a gorgeous glow and instead felt that it just looked too glittery and shimmery on the skin. I am all for a dewy healthy glow but I want it to look natural and not too shiny. Despite my disappointment I was intrigued by the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer as I thought that the similar formula would be perfect for illuminating and counterbalancing the dark circles.

It is a full coverage concealer that can be used on blemishes as well as under the eyes. It covers the imperfections easily and can be built up if wanted. However, it is very moisturising so it does not crease or go cakey, instead lasting for a good number of hours before needing to be touched up. Although I do use it primarily for my eyes and my Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage for pin point concealing, see my thoughts on this hero product here. It contains Peptides and a Vitamin Moisturising Complex, which I think it is great at reawakening my puffy dark circles and adding brightness to my complexion. It has an easy to use applicator and the product blends easily into the skin.

It comes in four shades, which although isn't amazing is better than some of its highstreet competitors. I think this is a great all-round concealer that does exactly what it sets out to do!

You can purchase it for £5.49 from Boots
