Inamo Soho & Aqua Shard

On my weekly favourites here, I commented that I had had a brilliant Wednesday night with an old friend and I thought I would share it with you in more detail.

We started at Barrio Central on Poland Street which has an amazing happy hour every day! If you are ever near Oxford Street then pop here for £4 cocktails and bottles of beer! The only problem is the service which can be very hit and miss.

We then moved on to Inamo on Wardour Street which is an Asian fusion restaurant with an interactive menu. I apologise now for the standard of photos but my poor iPhone could not cope with the bright lighting! Next to your cutlery there is a circular shallow hole in the table which acts as your mouse pad. You can browse through the menu changing your table colour scheme and your cocktails and food get projected onto your plate.

You can then easily click down and order however many dishes your like. A dangerous idea!

We decided to go for the smaller dishes so we could try lots of different options. Each one was insanely delicious but I think my favourites were the spicy grilled aubergines, although this may seem a random choice I promise you once you have tasted this treat you will all agree! We had a mixture of Chinese and Sushi, which is washed down with beer and red wine.

The food was quick to come out but whilst you waited you could play an assortment of games or even watch the chefs slave away over your meal!

The service here was amazing and although we completely over ordered I would definitely go back in an instant.

The night ended with a trip up Paramount Bar as it was so close. Here is the view of Oxford Street and the London Eye:

Liam kept saying the view did not compare to The Shard and as there were no tables near a window we decided to do a comparison. I am so glad we did, as Aqua Shard is an amazing bar and one I would really recommend. There is a restaurant as well but I think it might be outside of my price bracket!

We had luck on our side as a table left as we were stood next to them so had a perfect view of Tower Bridge as well as the rest of the London skyline. It was just a shame it was raining so I couldn't take amazing pictures! The atmosphere was relaxed and we stayed late chatting whilst drinking their amazing whisky sours. If you want a good bar and excellent view of London then you really should look no further.
