Top 5 Skincare of 2013

1. Cleansing Balms

I have been a huge fan of cleansing balms this year, my two absolute loves have to to be the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm (what a mouthful) and the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm. Both of these can be massaged into the skin to remove makeup leaving your skin feeling clean and pampered. I don't really have a favourite between them as I think  that although the EH smells divine and has a softer consistency it does come with a heftier price tag.

2. Super Facialist by Uma Brennan Rose Hydrating Cleanser

This is such an affordable lovely cleanser and if you have not tried it then I cannot recommend it enough. Although it smells of roses this cleanser does not react with my very sensitive skin; instead it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and cleansed whilst smelling heavenly!

3. Pixi Glow Tonic

This has been my favourite toner of the year. I have written another post about other toners I recently purchased under the recommendations of Caroline Hirons, read post here, but as I have only had them less than a month I didn't feel they could make it into my favourites of the year. The Pixi Glow Tonic is a very affordable exfoliating toner which I love to use in the evenings. I believe it has made a huge difference to my skin over the last 12 months and cannot recommend it enough.

4. Origins Clear Improvement Mask

5.  Origins Drink Up Mask

I have a more in depth post coming soon on why I love these two masks but they have definitely been the masks I reach for each month. The Clear Improvements helps to decongest the skin, alleviating your pores of any dirt and leaving you with a much clearer complexion. The Drink Up is a beautiful product which you use before bed and leave on all night. The smell brings a smile to my face and it leaves my skin feel plump and refreshed. I will discuss these two products in more detail in a few days.

What are your favourite skincare products of the year?
