A delicious and easy lamb dish.

Now I know it doesn't look particularly delicious but I promise it is! This dish is the perfect winter warmer and it is so so easy to make.

Riddle & Finns in Brighton

Last Saturday I went to one of my favourite cities, Brighton. If you have never been then I cannot recommend it enough as it is extremely diverse and you cannot leave without a smile on your face. My favourite area has to be the lanes and all the quirky shops, galleries and delicious restaurants it has to offer. I think this jug and little sugar pot has to be my favourite purchase of the day. They are from The Lavender Rooms which I could spend hours browsing around!

Yang Pang

Whenever anyone in my family is feeling ill there is only one dish we crave - Yang Pang! Over the years I have also managed to hook my boyfriend, as well as many friends onto the dish so I thought I would share it with you. It is a really easy quick recipe that instantly warms you and brings a smile to your face.

Kiehl's Meetup!

Firstly I would like to apologise for the length of time it has taken me to write another post. Having finally taken the plunge and started a blog I then had one of the busiest few weeks and everything got put on hold - typical! Though on a more positive note, I do now have lots of wonderful things to write about.

Yesterday, my lovely friend London Kat had parents evening and so begrudgingly she handed over her invite to the Kiehl's Meetup hosted by the lovely Anna and Lily at the Covent Garden store. I had the 8 o'clock slot which gave me the opportunity to wander around Covent Garden and take in all the festive Christmas lights (and have a cheeky mulled wine!)

Chicken & Chorizo Tray Bake

Apart from avidly reading beauty blogs I also enjoy blogs related to food - Deliciously Ella anyone? My mum is a fantastic cook and this has resulted in an obsession for good food. Back home the kitchen was and still is the most important room in the house. When we are all back from different areas of the globe, it is the kitchen we will spend all our time and it is something I hope will continue when I eventually buy a house of my own. I often try to emulate my Mum’s cooking so every week I thought I would share some of my favourite recipes with you.

This week I had some friends round for a quick supper before we went out for someone’s leaving drinks - he has decided to abandon us for surfing and wallabies! Having a separate kitchen and the fact one of the lovely ladies has been MIA for a few weeks meant I did not want to be stuck in the kitchen whilst everyone else was having a good old gossip. In instances like this I think a good old tray bake is the way forward as you can do the prep work before then just whack it in the oven when everyone arrives! Now I have loads of these tray bakes up my sleeve but the requested one this evening was with chicken and chorizo. I did take lots of great pictures of the process and the finished product however I unfortunately lost my camera on the night out, so I had to repeat the recipe at a later date! The only change was heated rosemary foccacia bread instead of a warm crusty sour dough for mopping up the sauce - by far the best bit!

Review | ByTerry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder

The other day I was lucky enough to not only have a day off but to also spend a rather overdue Harrods gift card. This was an extremely generous Christmas gift from a boy I taught last year - I did say it was overdue! I love visiting Harrods around Christmas time, the whole experience is just enjoyable and if you have never been it is an absolute must to get you into the festive spirit. I always find the people in Harrods to be incredibly efficient and friendly.

My Base Hero Brand

After many years of reading other people’s blogs and watching their youtube videos I have finally plucked up the courage to start my own blog - a scary thought. My addiction to reading blogs began about 2 years ago when I wanted to improve my skincare. I was bored of having dull and unhealthy skin so started browsing the internet to get inspiration and found lots of interesting blogs, many of which I still read today. My desire for flawless skin has grown, as sadly has the price tag on lots of the items I now buy or lust after. For my first post I thought I would talk about my makeup base hero brand - Laura Mercier.

Secret Camouflage, Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser, Foundation Primer in Radiace.
